In the early 1980,s we developed a programme for supervisors that taught them how to run a Clothing production line.
Six months of research followed and every htmect of a supervisors job was analysed and dissected. What developed was a pattern of behaviour that gave certain supervisors a good result. To put it bluntly, when certain supervisors did certain things, they achieved high production output and good quality. This pattern of behaviour was tested on so called " good" supervisors and was found to be correct. TWI set about developing a learning programme to teach that behaviour model to production supervisors.
The programme teaches the following 5 basic fundamentals
The programme has thus far trained over 2500 Supervisors worldwide and has become the definitive learning programme for Supervisors in the Apparel Industry.

The programme is carried out during working hours on the production line with a TWI trainer working with the supervisor guiding her through the Acorn © principles. Your production continues as normal throughout the programme.
